Mary came to us to develop the brand and packaging for her new line of mulberry silk–lined scrub caps, inspired by the compliments she’d receive on her hair after surgery days thanks to a silk scarf layered beneath her cap. She wanted to create an elevated, easy-to-use solution for medical professionals transitioning from long shifts to life outside the hospital.
We built a warm, modern identity with intentional breathing room, designed to feel at home in an upscale medical setting. Through brand strategy and messaging, we positioned the product around self-care and dual identity, crafting lines like “every shift feels better in silk.”
The main mark features a custom “A” inspired by the shape and ties of a scrub cap, which also forms a refined submark representing the duality of the materials. Minimal, science-forward illustrations were created for packaging, social, and the website to build trust while clearly communicating the product’s benefits.
Beyond patterns, we introduced thoughtful, uplifting phrases designed to connect with patients in a way that felt elevated and on-brand. The experience was completed with refined packaging, including a custom shipper box, care card, and inserts that speak to both sides of the wearer’s identity.
